MultArt is a community art project. We collect multiplication examples from nature and culture. This poster board is devoted to intrinsic examples, where both numbers absolutely have to be what they are. For example, 8*8 in a chessboard or 2*5 for fingers on our hands are intrinsic. Other multiplication examples can go to Multiplication Models. Say, a 6*4 box of chocolates belongs to Multiplication Models, because such boxes come in different sizes.

Hallucigenia is an extinct worm with four rows of appendages, with seven in each row. People assume it walked on two rows of those, and used the other two rows for defense. Nobody knows for sure. The
name is fitting, though. What a weird worm!
