Math Clubs
What is so special about Math Clubs? The answers are probably different for every math club fan out there! Here is Natural Math top five list:


5 - Children and adults work in one space meaningfully, parents having as much fun as kids.
4 - People support each other, care for each other in the context of mathematics, work and play together. Math is love.
3 - We develop, test and disseminate activity designs other families and groups can use, as well as building on activities others developed.
2 - People who say they always hated mathematics consistently do very well, contributing brilliant ideas, and enjoying themselves tremendously.

and finally,

1 - EVERYBODY IS A CREATOR OF MATH! Every club member, at every activity, is inventing ideas, creating art, honing definitions, writing stories, designing objects and in general authoring all kinds of mathematics.

If you want to glimpse the life of clubs, the Natural Math mailing list has some descriptions of Cary, NC Math Clubs activities. We are actively collaborating with many other math activity organizers, including National Association of Math Circles, math community leaders, math studios, researchers in mathematics education, math book authors, online math-rich communities and web projects.
